    Waipara Farmers market stock up on local olive oils, Cheviot Hills venison, Rachel Scott bread, vegetables, nuts, & fish. The local produce here is fresh and mainly organic.

    Drive up the dramatic coast road to the seaside town of Kaikoura which means to eat crayfish (lobster). Whale watch, swim with dolphins or photograph the fur seals.

    Yourself at Hanmer Springs Spa with a massage or rejuvenate in the hot pools. Hike or bike the numerous forest trails.

    of the valley from Mt Cass walkway… plus the amazing limestone outcrops.
