easter of two halves

Easter in our part of the world was a game of two halves……….as many of our rugby captains like to say when commenting on a game.

First  half  we were caught up in the tail end of Cyclone Ita…………………we had rain……………………….. bucket loads of it.
The normally low benign Waipara river was filled bank to bank with churning brown angry water.
Dry Paddocks turned to wet paddocks.

Then……………………….. there was sun, very welcome yellow rays to dry everything out.

That made the autumn colours sing.

Happy Easter! The sunshine did make your autumn colors sing! A Beautiful Easter Blessing!
We celebrated Easter with friends in Seattle, Washington and spent most of the week doing touristy
things. In the Skagit Valley they grow tulips to sell the bulbs and open the fields for viewing the month of April. It was a lovely sight to see! Enjoy your fall! Cathy in Idaho
