Comfortable chairs, a couch where you can put your feet up, relax, snooze, read, or listen to music or the birds. Full length windows and bi-fold doors let you connect with the garden. Private parking for two cars. Washer/dryer plus outside clothesline.
Tivoli sound system with iPod connection lets you enjoy your own music or the selection of music provided. Complimentary Wifi, Sky TV plus a selection of DVD’s. Up- to- date magazines and books, and Petanque will keep you entertained. Curl up fireside and enjoy the best of film or music. Gas fire which turns on and off with the flick of a switch, so you can enjoy the ambience without the work. Heat pump with heating or air conditioning functions.
We know how important sleep is, so treat yourself to our relaxing beds. Top range mattresses, a selection of pillows, wool underlay and electric blankets to keep you warm on crisp nights. Feather duvets and extra blankets. One bed is Super King and the other Queen size ( neither can be split). Linen is Egyptian cotton with additional mohair throws. Generous wardrobes & two luggage racks in each room to provide all the storage you need. Torches for nocturnal wanderings.
Each bedroom opens to an east facing deck ideal for coffee or tea in the morning sunshine and to hear the warble of the Magpies.
The cottage sleeps a maximum of four people (2 couples). You have sole occupancy regardless of the number of guests.
The French tub bathroom has a super comfortable bath perfect for candle lit champagne sipping, reading, or just luxurious bathing.
The shower bathroom has a large walk-through shower with rainhead, plus a slide shower, if you don’t want to get your hair wet.
Lots of fluffy towels, L’Occitane toiletries and olive oil soap hand made just for Dry Paddocks. Hairdryer, slippers & bathrobes.
On arrival you will find a complimentary chilled bottle of local wine to sup at leisure.
If you like to cook, Dry Paddocks has a fully equipped kitchen with essential pantry items. All the best utensils and cookware, including a Nespresso machine.Tea lovers have a selection of T leaf T, regular & herbal. The electric oven cooks your croissants to perfection and the gas hob sizzles the bacon and sausages. The fridge contains your generous first morning breakfast provisions, seasonal fruit dish and homemade yoghurt, milk and juice. Rachel Scott bread and home-made conserves are provided. Light dinner platter or antipasto platter is available on request, to be booked in advance,please enquire on booking.We have a small but extremely worthwhile selection of local wines, with honesty wine bar.
There is a local Farmers Market on a Saturday morning, plus supermarket and local shops in nearby Amberley for additional food supplies.
We are 5 minutes from award winning Pegasus Bay winery and restaurant, and popular Black Estate tasting room and eatery is 8 minutes away.
Feel free to walk around the property and talk to our trees. Watch the sunset, or stargaze from the mound into the brilliantly clear southern hemisphere sky. Read a book under the shade of the Quince trees. Sheltered by hedges, the pool house is perfect for an aperitif and the pool is heated during summer months.
